The safe delivery of food from Spain to our customers is our top priority. To add a further level of security for our customers, LaTienda actively sought out C-TPAT certification.

LaTienda undergoes an annual audit to ensure that all C-TPAT processes and documentation are maintained.

The C-TPAT program was implemented by US Customs and Border Protection to ensure the secure transport of goods across US borders. Participation in C-TPAT means that LaTienda plays an active role in the war on terrorism. As border controls tighten, C-TPAT compliance ensures the swift shipment of our goods across international borders.

• Random hazard analysis testing
• Thorough screening of all suppliers in their countries of origin
• Thorough employee background checks
• Shipping container and conveyance scrutiny - extremely high levels of scrutiny ensure the integrity of our products.

Since 2008 La Tienda has been C-TPAT certified annually in good standing.
